How Prometheus brought us the gift of fire?

-He hid it in a fennel stalk. In ancient times this is how shepherds in Greece used to carry a lighted fire with them as the fire smoulders for hours inside the stalk and the outside doesn't burn.In Greek mythology, Prometheus is a Titan, the son of Iapetus and Themis, and brother to Atlas, Epimetheus and Menoetius. He was a champion of mankind, known for his wily intelligence, who stole fire from Zeus and gave it to mortals. Zeus then punished him for his crime by having him bound to a rock while a great eagle ate his liver every day only to have it grow back to be eaten again the next day.
prometheus according to plato and protagor stole fire from the workshop of two olympian gods up on mount olympus. the gods were hyfaistus and athena.

hirodotus claims that prometheus transfered fire in an empty piece of reed and that he also gave man cures, ways of making clothes and houses. he tought them about agriculture, writing and maths.
