The light in the refrigerator. How can we prove it goes out when the door is closed?

-Get in it and close the door.On my refrigerator, there is a small "button" of sorts that the door pushes when it is closed. So, I could push the button with my finger and the light goes off.



Also, on a side note, I stayed in a facny beach house and the refrigerator light lit up in front of your eyes as the door opened. It was quite cool the first few times you opened it.
The closing door pushes a switch which turns off the light. Find the switch, push it, and the light will turn off. As soon as you release the switch it'll turn on. There may be multiple switches, which all need to be pushed at once.

The light is both on and off until you open the door to check.
