Will the World End in 2011?

-The Mayan Calendar ends in 2011, some people beleive that this is when the Earth moves off axis. The cause is Melting Polar Ice, What do you think?It may end in 2011 or 2012 or in fifty years or in three seconds. No matter how much science everyone claims to have discovered that proves that the world will end on this day or that day or whatever. Only God knows when the world will end. Jesus Christ will come back to collect His children and take them back to Heaven. Even Jesus doesn't know when the world will end, only God the Creator. P.S. Be ready for when Jesus comes back by repenting of your sins and asking Jesus into your heart and soul.There has been said that the Mayan calender ends in 2012. Then some people claimed that that was calculated wrong and that the Mayan calender would end way after that. But I don't get it, why does it matter if the Mayan calender ends? It doesn't mean that the world will end too. The melting polar ice, well fifty years ago they said that around this period of time the world would have been flooded because of that melting polar ice. When it comes to weather and such were still not able to measure things so precise. Right now a lot of people are just obsessed with the end of the world. People have always been, lots of philosophers have tried to predict the end of the world. But we can't, we don't know. I'd say don't worry about it. Earth has probably existed for about 4.7 billion years so it's not gonna end any time soon.
No it's just a scaremongering load of rubbish. Thousands of people have predicted 'the end of the world' over the years and every one of them was wrong. As as polar icecaps melting is concerned I was taught at school over 50 years ago that the earth's rotation has a slight wobble and the climate changes every 40 years or so. Looks like they were spot-on.
well, I don't think so... (even more after the May 2011 and Family Radio issue). We hear about the 21st Dec and planets aligning etc ... But I believe that ONE day in the universe means nothing. On earth, one day is long but in the context of universe ONE day is insignificant and I don't think that in ONE day, the universe will collapse...
I believe you mean 2012. But, no, I don't think anything will happen aside from some panic from believers in the 2012 theory. That's it.
